This year was my first year to cook a Thanksgiving meal. I was a little intimidated, but I survived! I did take a few short cuts, and I am glad I did. We bought pre-cooked turkeys from The Honey Baked Ham store. We did have to reheat them (2 hours each). We bought 2, because we had a lot of people. My dad, brothers, sister, and sister-in-law were here. We also had our neighbors and their 4 children. It was a house full, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
JT said a prayer, but Ella wanted to add more to it. She thanked God for the food, family and her mermaid tail. It was so cute! I love to hear my children pray.
Friday, we took the family out the Tybee and spent the day out there. We got a few good shots and I will post some soon. Friday, was also the day I came down with a cold. I am blaming it on my brother!
By this morning everyone was gone and it was us again. I stayed in bed all day. The girls played and JT played a game most of the day. It was nice to relax after such a busy time. But like I said above, I enjoyed every moment of my busy Thanksgiving weekend.
