Not too long ago, this little lady turned 9. She is such a beautiful person. It is neat that our conversations are turning into big people conversations. We talk with each other more than I talk TO her. God sure does give you the children you need. He knew her daddy and I needed her.
She has never met a stranger.
She is VERY passionate.
She questions everything.
She loves Jesus.
She loves to read (never thought I would say that).
She has a huge imagination.
Love my little lady!
Enjoy your last year in single digits!

I have been trying to be more intentional about using my big girl camera more lately. I really love it, and I use to always have it by my side. But my iphone kind of took that spot, because it was smaller.
The sun light has been amazing lately. I haven't ever really played around with the sun at this hour. This afternoon was perfect, and I needed pictures of Ella anyway.
I haven't walked up to the top of our hill in our backyard since the snow melted.
Yesterday, JT and I went up there. There was a field of fireweed all bloomed out! I have been dreaming of finding a place like this and it was in my own backyard.
While we were up there, we saw where a momma moose and her babies had bedded down. It was amazing to know she was keeping her babies warm in our yard. (Hope she survives moose season.) I showed Ella the spot. She was really hoping I was wrong and it was big foot's bed. She decided I was right.
We also saw some baby moose poop. At first, we thought it was bear scat, and that made me a little nervous having one so close. But after googling it, we found out it was a baby moose. Thanks google for putting my mind at ease!
I am excited to see this field next year with the fireweed is in bloom. It is so beautiful. And it really should be the state flower. And this fireweed, is as tall as I am. I am 5'11.
So, the story goes with fireweed, when it is bloomed out, fall is here and winter is close behind. I will say that of all the natural predictors of the summer ending, this is the best one.
And even though Ella is in a sleeveless dress, it was 40 degrees taking these pictures. She had on blue jeans and her snow boots. She has her coat on the ground. She was a trooper. By the time we were finished (5 minutes), she had forgotten about her coat being on the ground and almost left it when heading back to the house.

I can't believe she is NINE! I watched yall's news story online. No one is more deserving. Wish we were there where we could help and show your family how appreciative we are for yall. You are thought of and prayed for often! Your girls are beautiful and you and Jason are loved!
