Round 2

WARNING: PLEASE FORGIVE MY POTTY MOUTH. ;)
We began potty training AGAIN today. My dear Olivia was potty trained when she was 23 months old. She wasn't wanting to wear her diapers anymore, so I told her she was going to have to use the "big girl" potty. When she went, I made a big deal out of it and Ella joined in the excitement. She had a couple of accidents, one of which she decided the stairs were a great place to poop. But at the end of the day, she got it. The next month, she peed and pooped in the "big girl" potty. During that time JT came home for his deployment and after 2 weeks, Olivia decided she was going back to diapers. I wasn't too upset about it. She was still young and wasn't really talking much at all. Dancing at my feet was her way of telling me she had to go potty. So, I decided I would wait til after the holidays.
The holidays are now over and we are on round 2. She doesn't wear diapers except to bed. So far so good. She did ask for a diaper once, but I told her no.
My potty training tip. Go cold turkey with the diapers. Yes, it can be messy, but in the end it is shorter. Ella was potty trained in a week. I can't tell you how many times I had to change her clothes in one day, but she got it and she hasn't looked back since.
