Baby Movements

My absolute favorite thing about being pregnant is being able to feel my baby move. It also serves as a comfort after having a miscarriage. Around this time I usually monitor the movements, not because I am tracking them for the doctor, but for my personal information. One of the things I have noticed is that when the baby moves, she is generally awake. Those awake periods do not change after she is born.
I was always feeling Ella move, about every 2 hours. When she was born, she would sleep for 2 hours and then be awake for 2 hours...the whole 24 hours period.
Olivia only moved during the day. I hardly got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. After she was born, she slept 12 hours at night by the time she was 2 months old.
This baby, who has yet to be named, seems to only move at night and a few times during the day. She is awake about 6 am, then again around 11-12noon, and then again at 7pm. I am sure she is up all night long, because I get up several times during the night to use the bathroom. It seems as though, she loves to pounce on my bladder.
Because I am monitoring these movements, I am getting myself prepared for what is ahead after she is born. I am also planning on what to do to train her to sleep at night. I have a good plan. Luckily, this is not my first, and I will not sweat the small stuff nor go crazy over all the advice that everyone throws at you.
My baby must know I am writing about her, she is kicking me as I write this. I love it!
