Good Friends and Pretty Feet

Every Thursday, a group of us get together to have a play date with our children. We all have kids about the same age. We will go to one or the other's house or somewhere for the kids to run around. Today, it was at my house. I couldn't go anywhere since my husband had the truck (we are a one car family if you didn't know). I had just put down Sutton Grace right as everyone was coming in. They asked where she was, I told them. They asked how long has she been asleep, I told them. Then they said, "Put your shoes on." Ok... They were serious! So, I put my shoes on and one of them took me to get a pedicure while the other stayed at the kids.
Why was this so special? I don't get out of the house much without my children. If I do go somewhere, I always have the baby with me. She is very attached to me. Hence, why they took me while she was sleeping. She still nurses and will not take a bottle (I have tried). She also doesn't really like going to other people. She likes to look at them, smile, and "talk" to them, but only in my arms. It is fine. It really doesn't bother me. But every now and then, I do need some pampering. I can give myself a pedicure, but it just isn't the same as having it done for you. And I was able to get that today.
To my dear friends, thank you so much!

In other news....my husband is home!!!! For a little bit. So, if you do not hear from me much over the next several weeks that is why. We are trying to spend as much time together as a family before being seperated...again.
