We made it back late one night last week. I sure don't want to fly again for a long time! It was not fun by any means.
But we are home. The house smelled so good and it was warm. Two of my friends stopped by the day I was getting home and gave us some food so I wouldn't have to get out of the house the next day to get groceries. It was so good to sleep in our own beds again. I picked up our dog the next morning and he was glad to be home too.
Going home to Memphis was very refreshing for me. It was a nice break from here for a little bit. And as much as I miss my family and wish I could see them all the time, it is nice to be back in our own space.
Now on to my little projects I have going on this summer...Yay!!
