What Did You Get For Christmas?

We enjoyed our little Christmas this year!
I was originally very sad about it, because my husband was deployed and we weren't able to go back home since plane ticket prices were outrageous. But once I realized that was what our Christmas would be like, I sucked it up and decided we were going to have fun anyways. And we did!

While we were enjoying our little Christmas...just us girls...there came a little surprise late Christmas night....

So this may not be the most patriotic of homecomings, but it was just as special. If you are looking in the background, yes, we are in the hospital. My husband has been very, very sick. To the point where we were both scared. He was flown out of the war to be stabilized in Germany. Once he was cleared to fly the long flight home, they sent him back to Alaska. We are still unsure of what it going on. We have a long road of doctors appointments, test, treatment and healing. We ask for prayers.
Thankfully, the docs decided to release him to my care. Since his condition hadn't gotten worse, they thought it would be ok for him to go home with his family. His spirits are good, but he is still in a lot of pain and still sick.

It took only a few minutes after waking up for Sutton Grace to be glued to her Daddy's side.

One day, you will have to ask him about his flight on a private learjet!
