Meet River

She is the newest member of our family. We have had her awhile. Shortly after JT came back from Afghanistan, we got her. She was only 10 wks old then and now she is 19 wks.
It was hard to resist those eyes...my husbands...the ones that said, "Please don't say no to me, I am a wounded veteran." Those eyes. So we added a puppy to our house as if it wasn't crazy enough. She is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.



She is a good dog and a good fit for out family. She still has her puppy moments, but she is learning. I can't imagine not having her in our family.

(If you are looking at her eye and wondering what is up...she had to have stitches in her bottom eye lid to keep it from rolling inward. She will have those until she gets fixed and then they will take them out.)
