It is probably one of my favorite times of year. Gardening season!! The snow is gone, the sun is out for most of the 24 hours period now, and we can put away our heavy coats and snow boots.
It is time to start my seeds.
My herb seedlings! I am really excited about my herb garden this year. I can never find fresh herbs where I shop and it makes me so mad. I know these will be successful, because they were the only things that produced much last year and it was a horrible summer.

Ok...on this one I cheated...but it is because strawberries intimidate me a bit.
After reading about planting them, I am even more intimidated. But I will give it a good try. I am thinking some hanging baskets will do good. My kids eat strawberries like candy and IF I can get a harvest from these this year, I will be happy (from what I read, it takes 2 years). Strawberries are expensive here and these will help save some $$.

Here are my tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers. I am giving them a try again in hopes of more sunlight and less rain. I know they will sprout, but not sure about producing fruit.
I could easily carried away, because there are so many things I want to grow.
I am going to try potatoes in a garbage can. Google it, it looks easy. I already have my potatoes sprouting so I can plant them. I just need a cheap garbage can. And maybe another bag of dirt.

I am so impressed! I wish I could have a little garden, but I have a very black thumb. It is one gene that my parents both have that I didn't receive ANY of. Good luck!
