7

Today, my baby girl turned 7.

She is getting so big, and I am in a new stage of parenting...learning to let go a little...learning how to stop the attitude that comes with this age.

Being a mother is not easy.  It is no wonder more 1st born kids don't come out messed up from all the mommy mess ups.

Birthdays are special.

We ate breakfast at IHOP.

Chocolate was a reoccurring theme through out Ella's day.

She wanted Chinese for dinner.

Chicken fried rice (homemade), egg rolls and fortune cookies (not homemade).

Complete with chop sticks.

Mommy ate with a fork.
If I had to eat with chopsticks all the time, food would never make it to my mouth.

Spiderman cupcakes for everyone (mom, dad, Olivia, and Sutton Grace).
The girl fell in love with Spider man when she was 3 and still loves him today.

Happy Birthday baby girl!

What did Ella want for her cake?

A bowl of CHOCOLATE icing...and that is just what she got!
