Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  There are no presents involved, just food and fellowship.

We had several soliders (single and families) over for the day.  I enjoy being able to provide that home away from home environment.  Living in an overseas duty station, and yes, Alaska is considered overseas, many don't get the chance to go home for the holidays...and home is what we like to provide.  I always have room at my dinner table for one more.

I had my fair share of helpers when getting ready for Turkey Day.

The plan was to make 3 pies.

One pumpkin and 2 pecan (or Pee-Can as us southerners say it).

I am sure that this time next year, I will have another little helper in the kitchen and not an on looker.

Isn't she so stinkin' cute??  They all are!

I am truly blessed, and I have so much to be thankful for!
