6 months (Last Week)

Last week (yet another "last week" statement...a lot happened last week...more on that later), this little munchkin turned 6 months!  I can't believe we made it to this age!  To be honest the first couple of months were torture on me and her as well.  The days dragged by, but hitting this milestone has made me realize that the days have flown by.  Having kids really puts time into perspective...as in you don't have time, so make the most of the time you do have.

This one smiles all the time, she smiles at everyone in the family, but momma gets the biggest smile!
I symbolize love, fun, cuddles, comfort and FOOD.  I think food is the most important to her.  I like to call her my Chunky Monkey...she is my biggest at 6 months so far.  All my babies have worn the clothes that fit their ages...well, Campbell is in 9 month clothing.  She is a chunker by my standards.

She isn't sitting up yet...well, she can, but she would rather move.  She can't sit still.  She has 3 older sisters to keep up with.  She is always stomping her feet in the jumperoo or exersaucer.  When you lay her on the floor, she scoots and rolls to where she wants to go.  She is my only one to roll everywhere.  All the others didn't have any interest in it.

It is hard to get a picture of her looking at the camera smiling.  I usually have to focus on her face and then peak around to get her to smile.  If I go back behind the camera, she stops.  If you look at all these pictures you will see her looking slightly up.  in this picture, I am behind the camera, and she isn't smiling.

See... "There is mommy and I am really excited!"
Sorry for the blur...I didn't have my setting correct on the camera for low light and a fast moving baby.

And here is her little army crawl...more of a one arm scoot for now.  She was curious of my camera, which I had sat down beside me as I changed Sutton.

She is a sweet little blessing!  She still doesn't sleep at night much, and she doesn't have much a routine during the day.  So far, she isn't like any of my other babies...I wonder what is waiting for me as she gets older???

I also think she looks like my dad's side of the family.  I see a lot of my cousins in here.  Somedays I see a little bit of my bother in her (the older of the two).  I think it is neat how genetics take place.  Genetics also say that dark hair is a dominate gene, and so far the only one to have close to my dark hair is Ella.
