Oh So Good!

I don't share recipes often on here, not because I don't cook....I LOVE to cook!
I just don't cook in recipes.  I cook with a little of this and a pinch of that.

I will share the recipes I find that I think are worth sharing.
This one is worth sharing.

I am always looking for something different to do with my pork.  I love to stick a roast or a butt or even chops in the crock pot.  But I find myself doing the same ole things.  So, I went searching for something different.   I found this Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Recipe .

YUM!

I have made this about 3 times.

The third time I put it in the crock pot for about 10 hours.  It was just as good.

Instead of just eating it from the pot (which is fantastic),  I wanted to make little sandwiches.  It is spicy and I am the only one in my family that likes spicy things.  To counteract the spice, I added sweet...sweet in the form of  Hawaiian sweet rolls.  I topped the pork with homemade coleslaw.

I don't have a recipe for it, but if you are good at 'a little of this and a pinch of that' cooking, here you go...

Cabbage ( I personally like red and green)
Carrots
Mayo
Rice wine vinegar
sugar
celery seed

OR

You can buy your own or buy the coleslaw bag at the store and follow the directions on the back.

Slice your Hawaiian roll, place the pork inside, and top with slaw.

Oh sooooo yummy! I had 5 rolls!!  I could have eaten more, but there wasn't any left.  My kids don't usually ask for seconds, but this time they asked for seconds and thirds.  I finally had to cut Ella off.

Even this one was begging for more, and she NEVER does!

It a quick easy recipe, especially one to cook ahead.  This one will go in my regular rotation of meals.

P.S.  I am NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER talking about Campbell sleeping well again!
I end up regretting it EVERY.  SINGLE.  TIME!

These past couple of nights have been HORRIBLE!  I am tired!
