Blogging Block

I have blogging block...a form of writer's block.  I have tons I want to write (but can't for now), but I haven't had much of a desire to blog lately.  I love it...I sometimes get crippled by all the things going on in my head.  I have so much on my mind, everything from super serious stuff to very trivial things.

"They" say the best way to overcome writer's block is to write...so here I blog.

It's isn't about much of anything.

Remember my self portrait at the Iditarod?
Well, I took another one.

That is the bumper of my husband's truck.  We went for a drive in this beautiful state and wouldn't you know, we ended up fishing.  Well, the 2 older girls fished, JT untangled line, Sutton Grace slept in the truck, and I tried to keep Campbell happy (she was crying because she wanted down on the ground).

Anyways, back to my self portrait.  It is fun to take pictures of me like this.  In this one, it was much easier to take a picture of C and I than to take it like...

...this.

The camera is heavy, and I can never tell if we are really in the shot or not.  I am not good at those pictures.  I took a bunch just to try and get one decent pic of C and I.  She kept trying to grab the camera.  I had a double chin in a few (can't have that).  She got fussy.  I was talking.  Or it was zoomed in to get just my cheek.

So, I think I will stick to my more creative ways of self portraits.  I like them.  I feel like I can prove that I was there that day also.

(Maybe next time I take a pic of myself I will be wearing something other than my fleece jacket...but I love it...it feels like I am wrapped in a blanket...and if you know me, I love to be wrapped in a blanket.)

And my dear cousin Laura...I think I have one of your kids!  Sometimes when I look at Campbell I see your face.
