I know co-sleeping is a hot topic amount parents...but I say...whatever works for you in terms of that.
I did not let Ella sleep with me at all. I wasn't going to start that habit. She slept better with me than apart from me, but I was determined. She didn't sleep well at all as a baby.
With Olivia, I let her sleep with me until she slept through the night. She was a perfect sleeper.
So, I did the same with Sutton Grace. Both slept through the night (12 hours) at 2 months.
So, I tried with Campbell...didn't work.
My lesson was that I didn't have it all figured out!
Since Campbell is still a hit or miss when it comes to sleep, and she and Sutton share a room, Sutton ends up in our bed most every night.
Neither one of us mind it at all. It is sweet. And it won't last forever.
Olivia did the same thing at her age, and now if she gets in our bed at all, it last about 5 minutes before she heads back to her bed.
I like that they feel the freedom to hop in the bed and that it is a safe place for them.
At one point we had all the kids piled in the bed...that was interesting...and the king size bed suddenly felt very small! :)
But look at that cuteness snuggled above...who wouldn't want to sleep next to that?
Well, at least until you get a foot in your face.
