This picture

The picture on our blog was taken recently (JULY 25). It was the day JT came home from a 15 month deployment. The deployment was an interesting time for all of us. Sometimes it was bad, other times it was really bad. I would never wish a seperation of family on anyone. We grew a lot as individuals, but most importantly we grew as a couple. It forced us to communicate and when there was a problem, it had to be solved right then and there, because you never knew what might happen as soon as the phone was hung up. Ella really had a hard time. She is a daddy's girl. We stopped watching the news, because if she saw a man in uniform she would get upset that her daddy wasn't home. Olivia was too young. She was 7 months old when he left.
But the day this picture was taken was one of the happiest days of my life. Our family was back together. The way it should be. Since then, you would think that we would have to readjust to life together again. We did and it is just as if he never left. I can say it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be.
What does our future hold? We are very unsure of where God is going to take us next, but I am sure wherever that is, He will always be with us, just as He was during this deployment.
