Easter 2009

When we got to Anchorage, it was one week before Easter. Unfortunatly, we didn't get to go to church. We did have a house by then, so we didn't have to spend the holiday in a hotel. The girls were visited by the Easter Bunny and he brought them a Welcome to Alaska easter basket. They were really excited.


There is one thing about Alaska that to me is very unique to Alaska. They have combat everything! They combat fish in almost all the rivers. Well, they also have combat Easter Egg hunting. It is just what you would imagine in your head. These kids are 3-5 years old. There was stealing of eggs from other kids, cutting kids off, pushing kids out of the way and that was just the parents! HA The kids were a little better than the parents. All in all, the girls had fun and they got to meet the Easter Bunny.
