Snow Angels

As I wrote before, the girls were so excited about seeing the snow. They begged and pleaded to play in the snow. But because Mt. Redoubt exploded right before we got there, there was a layer of volcanic ash on top of the snow. There was no way I was going to let them play in it! I told the girls that they could when there was fresh snow on the ground. I knew that there would be atleast one more snow before it melted. At least, I was praying there would be. On Easter Sunday, it started snowing a bit but not much of anything. The next morning snow was everywhere! It was really pretty. We got out and let the girls make snow angels. I am glad I did not wait, because the next day all the snow had melted. The pile of snow they laid in was probably a good 2 feet high.
