Exploring the Kenai Penensula

We decided to go exploring on Saturday. We were going to go North, but we have been a little ways up North, so we decided to go South. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I don't think there are many other places in the US that are this pretty.
I will let the pictures do the talking...

This is the tide going out. When the tide goes out all the way, it exposes land the size of Texas. It is also a very quick tide and you can get caught in it before you know it.

This is a waterfall from the snowmelt.

So, God's beautiful creation wasn't enough to keep the girls from falling asleep. Here is Ella.

Here is Olivia.

Six Mile River or Creek, I can't remember.

Ella likes to pick up rocks and pick flowers. Here is a pebble she found and wanted me to take a picture of. I thought it showed how good my camera is even though I don't really know how to use it yet.

JT and Olivia baiting a hook.

Unfortunatly, my husband didn't catch anything. The fish aren't really bitting just yet.

This is the view from the rest stop. Wouldn't it be nice if every rest stop in the country had this view?! You can be out in the middle of nowhere up here and there is a bathroom on the side of the road and a telephone. It is pretty comforting and smart.

This is me at 20 weeks being goofy as JT takes a picture of my pregnant belly. I am not one to take the traditional belly pics, so this is what you get.

OH NO!!! JT slipped!!

It doesn't even look REAL! Looks like you took postcards, rather than pictures of where you are actually located. Amazing! Thank you for sharing the beauty with us! WOW!!!!

Makes me want to head that way! Awesome how beautiful God made his creation, isn't it?! It truly gives the glory back to Him! Wow!
