Mother's Day adventures

On Mother's Day, we decided to explore our own back yard...Fort Richardson. We haven't really explored post too much, but we knew there were some awesome places to see. JT did find out that those places were off limits due to a wolf attack. We didn't know because there were no signs posted and there were tons of people out there. We found some beautiful lakes and saw some wildlife, beaver, moose and bald eagle. I will say that it is hard to see the bald eagle in the picture, if you look closely, you will see a white spot...that is the eagle.
Later in the day, I was flat worn out so JT took the girls to a park on post. Well apparently, a lot of other people had the same idea, so they didn't stay too long, but he got some good pictures.

There is a Bald Eagle in there somewhere...

JT fishing on Eagle River

My loves flexing their muscles.

Here is a picture of a beaver's butt.

This is a lake on post...it is ok...be jealous.

Moose. These guys are all over the place!

Olivia had something on her hands and she was upset. JT started making her laugh to get her mind off of it. He is great at that.

Olivia doing what she does best...running.

Ella trying to keep up, poor thing.

Olivia popped her ball. She loves this ball.

Big sister tried to save the day by blowing it back up...unfortunately, it didn't work.

I love some of the captions on your pictures! The one about Ella trying to keep up made me laugh and it broke my heart! I totally know what that feels like. Jason was Olivia and I was Ella. I was never able to keep up- even when his legs were short! :)

The picture of Ella running looks exactly like you, Sarah.
