I don't think I have talked much about the baby, only about the pain of being pregnant. I can say this is harder than Ella and Olivia both were. I went back to the doctor to get a check up and the results of my ultrasound. There is one problem with the baby. The place in her kidney that collects the urine it too large, which is called prenatal hydronephrosis. In short, she could not have enough amniotic fluid around her later in the pregnancy which could also contribute to under developed lungs. I am only .2 over their limit, so there is a possibility it could be an error. I will go back for a follow up in a few weeks to see how it is measuring. If it is the same or bigger, they will monitor me the rest of my pregnancy. There isn't anything they can do until after the baby is born. The results of an ultrasound done on the baby will determining the course of action we take.
I am not freaking out at all, so I don't want anyone else to either. I do ask for prayers for the baby's health and that everything will go smoothly. I will update when I have more information.
