Hello Sprouts!

I have always had lofty ideas of having my own vegetable garden. This year I will have one, well a small one in containers. But never the less, I am very excited about it! The girls and I have planted wheat grass, garden cress, other varies herbs, hot peppers, green beans, tomatoes, pumpkins, and sun flowers. Ok, sun flowers are not veggies, but still fun and pretty. Since we live on post, I can't have a garden in the ground, but I can in containers. So, everything will be grown in containers, except the pumpkins. I am going to plant them in the ground anyways. I am waiting on them to sprout. Our planting season is May-June. I am really hoping they all sprout and I can successfully grow everything. I am learning this year, so hopefully next year, I will know a little more. Maybe I will venture into a little more too. And I still hold to the lofty thought of having my own vegetable garden that can sustain my family...one day.
