Since I have been back, I have been trying to check things off my to do list. Since we have moved twice and Sutton Grace has come into the picture, I have been behind and all our stuff has been unorganized. I am taking one room at a time. Our bedroom has always been pretty organized. The girl's, however, has not. I got a bookshelf and some storage bins to put their "nice" toys that have small pieces in. It has been a life saver for me. They are only allowed to take one box out at a time. If they want to play with something else, they have to clean up what they are playing with. I don't have the headaches of constantly telling them to clean their room.
Sutton's room was just one plan mess. It looked like a storage room with a baby bed in it. She will soon be mobile and playing with her toys. Today, I conquered that room. It looks so cute. I still have to paint her dresser, but I will save that project for another week.
The next room will be the office/guest/school room. :)
But my current project and one I have been putting off forever is organizing all the girl's clothes. When we moved to Alaska, somehow (I blame the movers since they packed out things) the clothes sizes have been mixed up. We have also changed seasons and the girls are growing out of things. So, I am trying to get it all separated and back into bins by sizes and seasons. This will take me awhile, but it has to be done.
Other projects on my list are: paint 2 dressers, plant my sprouts once they are ready, organize the office, clean the basement, make my front "yard" presentable, and start running at some point.
I know all this sounds like a lot and you may wonder where I find the time, but really it isn't too much. The girl's go to bed around 7:30 every night, so I have a lot of time before I go to bed to get things done. I try to devote my days to playing with them. It is also nice that Ella has gotten old enough to help out with chores. Olivia is getting there, she is learning still.

A well tackled and structured to do list. I like it :)
Good for you on the shelves & storage boxes. I have always thought that toy boxes encourage messiness. They have to take everything out to find the little pieces (of whatever) that fall to the bottom.
