Happy Birthday Olivia

Today, we are celebrating Olivia's 4th birthday! If you are keeping count, yes, all 3 of my kids were born in September. Did we plan it that way? No. But it works.
Olivia is fun. She can be really shy at times, but when she gets out of her shell, she is a goof ball. She is also her own person and doesn't really care too much about what others may think of her. She is strong-willed. We have had a few show downs in her life time. She likes to dress herself and that is one battle I will not fight....most of the time. She is actually good at picking out matching clothes.
On the girl's birthday, I let them pick what we eat at all meals. When I asked Olivia what she wanted to eat for dinner, she said, "I don't want your yucky dinner mom, I want Burger King!" So, we ate Burger King...they did, I didn't.

She doesn't do things the way most kids would. She didn't want a cake of cupcakes for her birthday. She wanted ice cream sandwiches. So, we made some. They were really good and we will probably do this a little more often.

She is so excited to be 4. In her words, she says she is four "a long time ago"....meaning she will be 4 for a long time.

Notice those pinkies? You can't take the proper southern lady out of her.

Ella enjoyed hers too....see the closed eyes? She is enjoying all of it. If it were her way, she would have chocolate chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ice cream, rolled in chocolate chips.
