Arctic Valley Hike...Sort Of

There are so many places to get out and hike in Alaska...literally, you can step out your back OR front door.  It is beautiful!

I like going to Arctic Valley when we need to go some place close. 

I feel like I am in the movie Heidi.  Remember that one?

If you hike the whole thing, it isn't very long...but we have never hiked the whole way.

You can pick berries, but you have to go up pretty high on the mountain. 

And you can even dance! :)

I am hoping that we can get out more as a family and do these short hikes before the snow falls.

I love Alaska, and I can say that living here has made me appreciate the SUNSHINE sooo much!

We get a lot of rain and cloudy days.
