Man Things

As a military wife, I am use to long periods of time without my husband.  During those times, I have to everything.  I don't have the man around the house to do "man" things.
Then, when he is home, I get so use to having a man to do those "man" things that I forget I can do them myself.
This weekend we bought a fire pit that was on sale.  I have wanted one all summer long, but couldn't seem to justify spending the money on it.
I was waiting on my handy husband to put it together, but I didn't want to ask him to do it.  He works all day and people demand much of him, and I want him to be able to relax as much as possible.
So, I decided I could do it.  I mean how hard could it be?

Well, first, make sure you read the ENGLISH side of the instructions if you can't read Spanish.
Secondly, make sure that when you are screwing parts together, they are facing the right direction and not upside down.

I am not speaking from experience...it is just some advice I thought I would offer.
Ok...Ok...I am speaking from experience, but both problems were easily fixed.

It is also very helpful to have an enthusiastic 7 year old to help!

5 minutes 15 minutes later, it was finished.
And ready for s'mores!
