Frozen

The temps haven't been too bad (as cold as they were), but we we're on our way to having the coldest January on record.  Things have "warmed" up a little today.

Yesterday, however, we went to go to the store and the doors in the van were frozen shut!  We couldn't open them at all.  JT bought some de-icer and that didn't help.  So, he took it to a friend's garage (because ours has way too much stuff in it) parked it in there for a few minutes to thaw out the door....they now open.

Remember when I wrote about the seal in our window being broken?  We had maintenance out to the house, and they said there was nothing they could do til summer.  

Bummer!

So, until then, our heat is cranked way up.

But because of the broken seal, it is allowing the concrete the pipes are in to cool down.

And late last night, JT walked into the garage to a flood.

 

We also had water in the basement.

The clean up is not fun!
