The girls and JT love to tie flies. Since he has been off work recouping from surgery, they have tied a few. He has also rigged up the ice fishing poles so they can practice casting in the house. Yes...fun!
Ella loves anything to do with fishing, but Olivia not so much. But JT includes her in everything hoping someday she will love it just as much.
They made their own flies today...big ones. He took the sharp part off the hook and then attached it to the fishing line. So instead of a heavy rubber worm, they had a pretty fly to practice with.
Even Sutton gets to play with it. I usually take the fishing pole away after she gets a hold of it...it turns into an object that pokes things...and people.
So, what can you catch with a really large fly?

Looks like Olivia likes the arts and crafts part of fishing. I always loved the organizing of the tackle box, but I just didn't like the actual fishing. Olivia and I can go shopping instead. :)
