Discovery

I love watching my little ones (and big ones) discover new things.

Campbell is getting into everything.  She reminds me so much of Olivia.  She also likes to figure out how things work.  She is a problem solver...just like Olivia.  Both seem to be able to look at a situation and figure out the best way to go about conquering it...just like their dad.  Both were climbing furniture before they were walking....like scooting things over to the couch to climb on it to get on the couch.

Then there is that discovery that makes me get a nervous tick...ok...I am not that bad about dirt.  

I don't mind it really, but this time we were just about to go inside for dinner.

Sutton is really into dirt lately.

She loves running her hands through it...throwing it everywhere....eating it....playing in it....and sharing it with the dogs in their water bowl.

I may or may not like to squish my toes in the mud...

DIRT. WAS. EVERY. WHERE.

In her eyes.

In her nose.

In her fingernails for days.

In her mouth.

She giggled the whole way to the tub....and it was dirty afterwards.

But she had fun and I got some pictures I will always love (and save for her little photomontage at her wedding or so for her kids one day when she gets on to them for playing in the dirt).
