Life is busy lately. Very busy. I hardly have time to keep up with much of anything outside of my house and family. I don't get much time to devote to blogging anymore (as if you couldn't tell), I don't really keep up with much in the way of social media except instagram (it is like a mini blog for me).
In the business of life, I don't sit and play with the kids much anymore. Our time is spent together, but we are usually doing some sort of chore. I know...so fun!
I feel quite guilty.
When the older two were playing with some neighborhood friends, the little ones were inside. I was asked to play hide n seek. So, I did...but I really wanted to do dishes...well, I didn't want to do dishes, I needed to do dishes.
Things I learned playing hide n seek with a 3 and 2 year old...
Counting to 10 is really, really fast!
They get excited when it is their turn to hide.
I am just an inch shy of 6 feet and I don't fit many places anymore.
They get excited when they find you.
They hide in the same place over and over.
They usually give themselves away giggling.
Again, I don't fit many places.
(This picture bugs me, because only my ear in is focus...ha!)
It is really hard to hide when a dog is trying to hide with you.
I ended up having a blast and if everyone didn't need to eat, I would have kept going.
