She Has Curls

Campbell has curls.  I noticed them quickly when she was a baby.  I prayed they would stay.  I always wanted a little girl with curly hair.  And they are here to stay, I am quite certain.  

I have some curls, but mostly waves.  She loves it when my hair is curly and that is only after I take it out of the towel and it is wet. 

She isn't sure about being the only one with curly hair in our family.  And no matter what I say about how beautiful they are and that God gave them to her because they are perfect for her.  She keeps trying to brush them out.  I never knew at such a young age kids could be so aware of what they look like.

I make an effort to make sure my children celebrate their differences and support one another.  

I do hope one day she loves her curls are much as the rest of us do....cause they ain't going' nowhere!
