Where is January?

We have no snow.

It is January.  While a couple day warm up is normal this time of year, a warm up that has completely melted the snow.  It is just weird.  I am not complaining at all.

This time of year can be hard to get through.  The newness of the fallen snow has gone and the magnitude of the rest of winter has been realized.  It get depressing and you start to feel closed in.

Even though our back yard has been a muddy mess, the kids have been outside for the past couple days loving this weather.  I have loved it too.  When my kids can get their energy out, they behave better and fight less.  

We are looking forward to atleast another week of weather in the upper 40's and sunshine.

This lady wasn't into going outside with the olders because she had to put on pants.  

But after lunch, she  decided they were having too much fun and she put on pants.

We went on walk (pictures over  -----> on my instagram feed) behind our neighborhood.  It was so nice to breathe fresh air and feel sunshine on our skin.  The kids are all resting now happily.
