So, I feel a little stupid. Mind you, I am still new to all this military stuff. JT isn't. Most of the information I wrote previously was correct. But some wasn't. I was sitting at the computer, when I heard TAPS again at 11pm! I was thinking man, "Another funeral at night that is strange!". I asked JT about it. HE said that they play TAPS every night at 11pm. When I asked why, it was because it signals the end of the day.
I was feeling all patriotic that night...man! I was wrong. Just for some info. There is a cannon blast at the end of the work day. Sometimes, when I don't expect it, it really scares me. I think, "WHAT IS THAT?", then I realize it is just the end of the work day.
