My youngest 2 have eczema. Sutton's has gotten progressively worse as she gets older. It only appears in the winter when temps dip down close to 20 degrees and lower.
75% of the children born in Alaska have some sort of skin disease.
When she has a flare up, she is not allowed to go outside and play. It makes it worse. And right now, I am having trouble controlling the newest flare up.
It is sad really. I want my kids to run and play outside. We love to be outside so much. But when her skins gets so raw and she wants to be cuddled, but it hurts so bad she does nothing but cry...I must keep her in.

I don't know much about eczema, but Tiffany Tranum's baby has it and she was told through the facebook community to try crisco. It's been less than a day and she can already see results.
I just saw her status, I am going to try it tomorrow.
