What I Have Learned Over the Past Year

I really think that over this past year, I have come into my own. I feel like I am me and I like who me is. I am content. Most of my learning has come from the military life, living in Alaska, and digging deeper in my relationship with God.

This is the BIG thing I have learned and it has to do with people:

Everyone is different and just because we are different doesn't mean we can't be friends. I no longer write people off if I don't get the warm fuzzies when I first meet them. It can take a while to get to know some people. Everyone has a story to tell. The most important thing, GOD loves everyone! I should too. I hope that my life now will shine the love of Christ on everyone I meet.

(There are a lot of other things I have learned, but it is late and I don't feel like writing much. I just wanted to get this out there before it slipped my mind.)
